The route starts from Terminal 3 and extends for 3.5 kilometres, joining the existing cycling network of the city of Fiumicino. Pedalaria is the cycling and pedestrian route that connects Rome Fiumicino Airport with the city of Fiumicino. It has been created to support a more sustainable way of moving around the airport area and to improve connections between the terminal and the local cycling network.

Where does the Fiumicino cycling route start? 

The Fiumicino cycling route starts from Terminal 3 at Rome Fiumicino Airport. From there, Pedalaria runs for approximately 3.5 kilometres before connecting with the cycle path of the city of Fiumicino. 

This connection makes it possible to move by bike between the airport and the nearby urban areas, integrating the airport with the existing cycling network and with routes that continue towards the coast, the railway station and Rome.
